Summary:

Seagen’s new cGMP manufacturing facility “project Launchpad” is being built in Everett, Washington, just North of Seattle. Launchpad will be a greenfield build encompassing end-to-end manufacturing capabilities for biologics and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Seagen is seeking a MRO Planner within the Real Estate and Facilities (REF) Engineering Organization. The MRO Planner will support Seagen’s engineering, maintenance, calibration, and automation programs as well as coordinate work within facilities and operations. There is also a high level of collaboration between this resource and team members performing the work, to ensure work orders are completed on time and in compliance. This position will work closely with QC, Manufacturing, Materials Management, MSAT, and all equipment system owners on their maintenance and scheduling needs. This role will also be responsible for spare parts oversight, inventory, and procurement. The position will directly support Seagen’s Commercial biologics Manufacturing Facility and requires experience with cGMP’s and working in a regulated environment.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating assets, PMs, Calibrations and Job Plans
  • Closely monitors EAMS system for incoming work orders and provides assistance to the MRO coordinator if needed
  • Closely monitors and manages “change” request work orders within the EAMS system and updates EAMS as needed
  • Responsible for monitoring PM forecasting and adjusting schedules as needed
  • Assists in oversight of the spare parts inventory, procurement and data within the EAM system and Oracle
  • Responsible for asset lifecycle management in the EAM. Asset management includes asset creation, PM and calibration planning, job plan creation and modification, asset onboarding with Quality Assurance (QA) and System Owner (SO), and asset disposal notification to finance
  • Effectively support daily Engineering operations, as well as predictive, preventive, and reactive/emergency maintenance projects
  • Responsible for interfacing with site equipment system owners to provide planning/scheduling services for their lab equipment needs
  • Manage a central repository for all service agreements/contracts
  • Communicates and collaborates with validation as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years-experience and progressive experience within GxP environment – pharmaceutical, biotechnology or biologic industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient use of Maximo or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system
  • Experience working in a cGMP Manufacturing Facility
  • Ability to work across functional groups
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work across a diverse user base
  • Experience with audits is desired
  • Proficient use in MS Office as well as discipline-specific and project management software applications

The hiring pay range for this position is $71,000 to $91,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role. Other components of total compensation include a competitive equity grant at the time of hire (with additional annual grants, and grants upon promotion when applicable), and an annual bonus.
